The present research work titled "Motor Stories to Enhance the Development of Gross Motor Skills in 5-Year-Old Children at initial education No. 025 in Chachapoyas" aimed to determine the influence of motor stories in enhancing gross motor skills development. The research is quantitative in nature, of applicative level, and follows a pre-experimental design with a single pre-test and post-test group. The population consisted of 46 children, with a sample of 20 children aged 5 years. The observation technique with checklist and evaluation rubric instruments was used for assessment. Comparative analysis of data was performed using Microsoft Excel version 2016. The results from the pre-test showed that 90% of boys and girls were at the initial level, and 10% were at the developing level. In the post-test, 5% of boys and girls achieved a distinguished level, 85% achieved the expected level, and 10% were still developing.
