The following research project is about the influence of the podcast in listening
in students of 3rd grade of “Virgen Asunta” school Chachapoyas- 2023, this study was
carried out to determined what extend the podcasts improve in listening of the students.
This research project was quantitative to an applied level, with a preexperimental research design we applied pretest and post test to the same sample
group, we determined by a probabilistic sampling of 18 students of 3rd with the
technique of observation and evaluation rubrics and checklists as instruments.
The results of the application of podcast to improve listening in students of 3rd
,
using the instrument of evaluation rubric, we got the following; in listening level when
we applied the pretest, 15 students that represent the 83,33% are located in beginning,
2 students that represent the 11,11% are located in process and 1 student that represent
the 5,56% achieved the successful level; then when we applied the posttest 2 students
that represent the 11,11% achieved the prominent level, 5 students that represent the
27,78% are located in successful level, 10 students that represent the 55,56% reached
to locate in process level, while 1 student that represent the 5,56% kept in the beginning
level. In conclusion, after applying the podcasts to improve listening skill a moderate
improving is evident
