    Abstract
    In the present research entitled psychomotor games as a didactic resource to develop spatial orientation skills in 5-year-old boys and girls from the Educational Institution N° 001 "Niño Jesús De Praga" Chachapoyas, 2023, our objective is to demonstrate the impact of psychomotor games to develop skills of the notion of spatial orientation in 5-year-old children. The type of applied research with a quantitative approach was used, our research has two variables: independent variable, psychomotor games and dependent variable: notion of spatial orientation, having as a population 63 5-year-old boys and girls from three sections, the sample taken is 21 5-year-old children, having 11 girls and 13 boys from the section "Always friends" where, When taking the entrance test, most of the children were placed at the Beginning level, being 100% of the students, after applying the strategy, favorable results were obtained, where the children were placed at the Achieved level with 86% and Outstanding with 14%, reaching the conclusion that the strategy that was used was favorable, demonstrating the effectiveness of psychomotor games to strengthen notions of spatial orientation.
