The objective of this research is to analyze to what extent construction games
improve fine motor skills in 4 and 5-year-old children of the Initial Educational
Institution 019 “Consuelo de Jesús Salazar Rojas” El Molino, the type of research is
applicative within the quantitative approach, application level and non-experimental
design, the population is made up of 19 children and the sample is made up of 12
children. The pretest was applied with the rubric as evaluation instruments, the results
obtained show that at the beginning level there are half of the children, which is
equivalent to 50%, in process 33,3% and in achievement 16,7%, but after applying the
construction games, a great improvement is evident in fine motor skills since when
applying the post test, it is observed that only 1 child is at the process level with 8,3%,
66,7% achieved and 25% of the total children stand out. In this sense, it can be
concluded that construction games do contribute positively to the improvement of fine
