The following research project aimed to demonstrate the influence of TPR on
improving English language listening in third grade “A” students of the Educational
Intitution “Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza” – Buenos Aires, 2023, in this way it is
intended contribute to the development of English language skills through this method.
The work was carried out under the type of applied research within the
quantitative approach and a pre-experimental design, with a population of 41 students
and a sample of 20 students, of which 16 students participated, the instrument for data
collection was a rubric evaluation in which the dependent variable dimensions such as
interpretation, comprehension and vocabulary were included. To measure the
reliability of the instrument, expert judgment was used. The results show that there is
a significant impact of the TPR variable on the listening variable; concluding that the
method used manages to improve the dimensions of listening, going from the initial
level of achievement to an achieved and outstanding level.
