PROGRAMA CVPIDIS PARA DESARROLLAR LA COMPRENSIÓN LECTORA EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DEL SEGUNDO GRADO DE SECUNDARIA DE LA I. E. 18084 “LA VILLA”-PEDRO RUIZ GALLO, 2023.

Abstract

The following research project titled “CVPIDIS program to improve the reading comprehension in second grade students at La Villa School – Pedro Ruiz Gallo 2023, aimed to demonstrate the effect of the CVPIDIS program in reading comprehension in second grade students at La Villa School. The kind of research project was applied, with a quantitative approach, with a pre-experimental design based on pre and post test with just one group and an explicative level. The population was formed by 53 students registered in the two classrooms of second grade, and the sample was formed by 29 students, an objective exam was used as instrument, having as evaluation tool a checklist with 15 indicators, that instrument was review and validated by experts. A data base were gotten through the test of the reading comprehension, Those were processed in a descriptive level, in the results in pretest according to the rating scale 0% students were in significant and outstanding level, 6,90% were in process and 93,10% were in started level; in the post test according to the rating scale 24,14% students are in outstanding level, 58,62% in significant level, 17,24% in process and 0% are in started level. In conclusion the CVPIDIS help significantly in the improvement in reading comprehension where a lot of students passed the literal, inferential, and critical dimension.
